Advisor and plant supervisor walking an active manufacturing aisle during a quality review

Walkthroughs

How a plant quality walkthrough unfolds

Our flagship engagement for manufacturing quality analytics: days on the floor with supervisors, reading scrap and inspection signals where they are made.

Before we arrive

You share recent scrap, rework, and hold-lot summaries, plus a simple line map. We agree which shifts and stations are in scope so escorted access is ready on day one.

On the floor

We walk with the supervisors who own those stations. Conversation stays concrete: which defect codes appear most, which charts get updated mid-shift, which holds stall at changeover.

After the visit

You receive a written findings list ordered by what the next production week can absorb. One follow-up call within two weeks helps you sort what to keep, what to trial, and what to leave alone.

  1. Pre-visit record review and station shortlist
  2. Escorted floor walks with shift supervisors
  3. Side-by-side reading of sheets and charts already in use
  4. Prioritized findings delivered to plant leadership
  5. Follow-up call to settle next steps

What we look for

Scrap by station

Whether tallies separate material, process, and final rejects clearly enough for a supervisor to act.

First-pass trust

Whether operators believe the yield figure, or soften it because it only appears in blame meetings.

Handoff survival

Whether open holds and stations under watch survive a noisy changeover in writing and in person.
